3 Artsy Websites for Your Next Work Break
by Beth Dreher
If your workday is anything like mine, you’re reading nonstop—online news, email, text messages, memos, books—and sometimes the ol’ eyes need a break, a burst of color. Enter these three image-based websites:
1. KoalasToTheMax.com: Feeling creative? Visit this site and a large colored circle will appear on your screen. Move your cursor over the circle and it divides into four smaller circles of different colors. Move your cursor over one of the smaller circles and it splits again. Before you know it, you’ve made your own mid-century pop art (or something like that).
2. WhereCoolThingsHappen.com: I love this aggregation of amazing art projects from around the world. My current favorites are Chinese Transport Skills and Colorful Strips With Vinyl Tape.
3.Ffffound.com: The variety of interesting images from cutting edge artists keeps me going back to this page. From gothic eagles to glamor shots of cool bikes, this site is a feast for the eyes—just what I need after scrolling through text for hours.
