So how fitting for such a renowned and whimsical author that the museum in his honor is now accessible from all over the world with an interactive tour thanks to some technological magic.

Google Maps’ ever impressive Street View feature now allows Roald Dahl enthusiasts the chance to peek inside the humble galleries in Dahl’s original home in Buckinghamshire, England. Though there are limits to the tour’s functionality—it is difficult to access certain corners of the galleries, and like visits to some real-life museums, it is far too easy to find yourself in the gift shop—what you can see is enough to invite fond memories of reading your favorite Dahl stories.
