How To Organize Your Wrapping Supplies
by Drew Anne Scarantino
The holidays are over. The trees have been trimmed, the gifts exchanged, and if you’re anything like my family, wrapping paper rolls, gift bags and bows litter the house from last-minute packaging. To keeps things under wraps until next year, follow some of these simple organization ideas:
• Use a paper towel holder or a hanging shower caddy to stack and organize ribbon.
• Or for easy access, stash ribbon in a perforated storage bin, with each end strung through the openings.
• Hang individual sheets of wrapping paper or gift bags by clipping them to a pants or skirt hanger.
• Use a hanging shoe organizer to store wrapping essentials such as tape, scissors, gift tags and bows.
• Store standing rolls of wrapping paper in a tall container, such as a trash can or even a magazine bin.
And don’t forget to stock up now on all the wrapping essentials for next year—the prices plummet once Christmas is over.
