Movember: Grow a ‘Stache for a Good Cause
by Lauren Gelman
If you’re seeing more facial fuzz around you these days, that’s because November is morphing into Movember, an international movement that encourages men to grow mustaches throughout the month to raise funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer. The mission is working: The Movember nonprofit estimates that growing one mustache is equivalent to 2,413 conversations about prostate cancer and men’s health. Last year, the group raised $126.3 million, about $15 million of which came from the United States. Get involved at us.movember.com.
