Connelly gets into Haller’s brain and details every twist and turn of the trial and how the law works, and that’s the joy of it. With his straight-ahead style that seems so effortless, he pulls you in completely from the very beginning. Engaging characters, great storytelling, and a worthy addition to the Connelly bookshelf.
