      I give a nice card and well wishes for something someone has done special for me and my girls.

      Note to editors–the implied ‘good deed’ of putting extra money in another’s meter in tip # five is actually illegal many places, as it defeats the purpose of the meter. This is enforced in many cities.  The tip is good, but a better choice for a photo might be recommended.

        i thought the point of the meter is to collect money. are they trying to collect tickets? what if, as u leave the meter u put change in for the future person?

          still illegal. The idea is to keep spaces opening up frequently. It is not mainly about the money, although it helps!
