Pizza

Sick of struggling to mold pizza dough into a perfect circle? This recipe eliminates the hassle of stretching "too thick" or "too thin." Just nestle the dough into a greased slow cooker, add your toppings and forget about it! When the crust starts pulling away from the sides and turning golden brown, you know it's done.

French Toast

Instead of flipping French toast over a hot stove before you've had your morning coffee, try this spatula-free recipe you can prep the night before. Sweet and gooey, this breakfast favorite comes out in casserole form and can be topped with fresh fruit, like sliced apples or blueberries.

Candy

Instead of painstakingly melting chocolate in bowls over hot water, layer different kinds of chocolate and nuts in a slow cooker and let it melt away to make these sweet concoctions. After a few hours, scoop the mixture into lined muffin tins and let it set.

Risotto

Time, patience and a lot of stirring is usually the secret to making this Italian dish creamy and delicious. But throwing all the ingredients into a slow cooker for a couple of hours gets you the same meal with much less effort.

Granola

Skip the store-bought stuff, and swap the oven for a slow cooker. Just toss your oats, nuts and dried fruit in the pot with melted butter and honey, and you'll have delicious, homemade granola with very little effort.

Enchiladas

Create your own version of this Mexican favorite by layering rolled up corn tortillas filled with veggies, meat, and cheese in a slow cooker on top of salsa. Serve with extra salsa, hot sauce, sour cream, or guacamole.

Eggs, hash browns and toast

Add chunks of Italian bread to this breakfast casserole recipe and you've got the essentials for a hearty morning meal, all in one. Prepping everything the night before and storing it in the fridge will make for an effortless morning.
