Meet the Well-Traveled Cats That Have Already Been to More Places Than You

Abandoned as kittens, Daikichi and Fuku-chan found a happy ending with their new owners. Now, they're visiting lighthouses, islands, and even Mt. Fuji.

Daikichi the brown tabby and Fuku-chan the red tabby were abandoned as kittens. Luckily, they were both rescued, and they ended up with the same owners. Their new humans love to travel and decided to bring their cats with them. Now, this four-legged duo goes on adventures all over Japan.

Here they are taking in a group of islands called Matsushima. It’s considered one of Japan’s top three beautiful views—and we can see why!

We hope Fuku-chan woke up from her cat nap in time to enjoy this amazing view! Check out more cats sleeping in crazy places.

Their names mean “Lucky Boy” and “Happy Kid”—and we think those names suit them pretty well. Here, the traveling cats are in front of Jōgashima Lighthouse, the second-oldest lighthouse in Japan. Yup, they’re lucky, all right!

We’d be happy too looking at this stunning view of Mt. Oakan reflected in Lake Akan.
