Go on, take a hike! And do some good while you're at it. Tauck World Discovery of Norwalk, Connecticut, arranges volunteer projects for visitors to Yellowstone. To date, more than 5,000 guests have put in 10,000 hours toiling on cleanup crews and preservation projects. And participants love it. "I returned from vacation feeling like a millionaire," says Josephine Kennedy, a Massachusetts schoolteacher who helped paint historic cottages last year.
