Results of our first monthly global snap survey are in! With help from our Reader's Digest international editions, we asked 11,000 people in 10 countries when they last called their mother.
Among the results: Thirty-three percent of Russians phoned their mother just once in the last month. Sixteen percent of Americans can't remember when they last called. Below, we accentuate the positive, revealing what percentage in each country showed Mom the love this week—or, better yet, today.

Surveys were done in August by Reader’s Digest international staff, or, in the case of Germany, the United Kingdom, and France, by an independent polling organization. Questions were posed online, by mail, over the phone, and in person to 150 to 7,500 respondents in each country.
