Volunteers pitched in to renovate Patricia Berryhill's home, located at 5228 St. Claude Avenue, and convert it into a clinic. After Katrina, it was coated, inside and out, with river muck, mold, and mildew. Termites had eaten away some of the floors.

I am from SC and in October 2006 I was in New Orleans as a missionary and worked for a week on a home right next door to the new clinic. It is so great to see clinics opening to help others in need.
