Georgianna Carter-Krell is national president of American Gold Star Mothers. Her son, Marine Corps infantryman Bruce Wayne Carter, was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor after a 1969 battle in Vietnam claimed his life. The Miami VA hospital was recently named after Bruce Carter. Here is her advice for President-Elect Obama.

My advice to the new president wouldn't be much different than what many others have told him. I hope he'll listen. He should quit this war, bring our boys home, and provide better medical care at the VA hospitals for the veterans who have served their nation in battle.
