In their first joint appearance of the Presidential campaign, Barack Obama and John McCain sat down with Pastor Rick Warren on Saturday, August 16. The best-selling author of The Purpose Driven Life and global philanthropist spent one hour talking with each of the candidates at his 22,000-member Saddleback Church in Orange County, California.

At the candidates' request, the two-hour event was held in a non-debate format. The questions were asked exclusively by Warren, who spent one hour talking with each candidate.

Watch the video of the event here.
