The help comes from near and far. Spurred to action by their church, the news, or Spike Lee's documentary, When the Levees Broke, people of all ages felt compelled to contribute to the city's recovery. Getting their hands dirty, these volunteers have rebuilt homes, classrooms, playgrounds, and stores. And with the help of non-profit organizations they're turning New Orleans and its outlying areas around.
