1. Hubbard Stadium, Smith Center, Kansas — The Redmen have won five straight Kansas State High School championships and 67 consecutive games, which is a state record as well as the nation’s longest active winning streak. The Redmen faithful in this town of more than 1,600 begin taping their blankets to the grandstands to hold their seats on Wednesday; by Friday afternoon pick-up trucks circle the field. Each home game begins with an all-town tail gate sponsored by local businesses. By 9 p.m., folks retire to “fifth-quarters,” a series of post-game parties held at churches and homes around town to relive their kids’ glory.

All good venues, but, I'll still take Autzen Stadium, thank you very much. As the home of the Oregon Ducks, it is said to be the loudest on the playing field. Lloyd Carr, when he was coach of Michigan, said that it's the loudest stadium he's ever heard! And his home stadium was the Big House!

No Memorial Stadium??? no see of red??? i agree... most of these are nice stadiums... but that's because they were built that way.... What makes places truly special is the history and tradition behind them. If you ever decide to uh.... "redo" this poll.... i would Consider the stadium that's been sold out since 1962.... the one that has been home to 2 hall of fame coaches.... and 5 National CHampionship teams.... think about it.

Come on, no Bryant Denny in Alabama. What about Penn State and OSU. The Swamp in Gainesville. Neyland Stadium in Tenn. Somebody needs to do some research on this before posting. I mean even Boise St. with the blue field should be on this. But o well I guess. Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer Give em Hell Alabama.
