What He's Plugging
Funnyordie.com and You're Welcome, America (with Will Ferrell as George W. Bush), the Broadway show he directed, appearing currently on HBO (check listings).

What He's Listening To
"Sufjan Stevens. His song 'John Wayne Gacy Jr.' is the most horrifying and beautiful song I think I've ever heard. I've also been listening to Lee Hazelwood, an old country singer from the 1960s who did duet albums with Nancy Sinatra."

What He's Reading
"The best book I read recently was The Road, by Cormac McCarthy. I couldn't put it down. And I love Discover magazine. I'm reading [their] best science stories of the year. The stuff is so unbelievable. I also just got the Bush book by Maureen Dowd, so I'm looking forward to reading that."

Where He's Surfing
"I do fantasy basketball, so I go to espn.com. I also like pitchforkmedia.com for music."

What He's Watching
"All the true-crime stuff. I love Watching the Detectives. It's hard-core New York City detectives and their accounts of really bizarre, terrifying cases they've had. Probably the lamest thing I'm into is Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. He is actually a fairly decent teacher and mentor to these people. He ends up breaking down emotional walls, getting them over their pride or ego."
