This customer review about the Candlewood Suites, Tuscon, Arizona on TripAdvisor is glowing: “Xaviar, General Manager is THE best. We had to search for a room at a VERY busy time in Tucson, due to engine failure on our VW van. It was almost impossible to find a room. Xaviar looked everywhere on his database and also attempted to create some sort of ‘hotel magic’ for us, juggling rooms, etc., but wasn’t able to offer us a room. They were booked solid. But what he did do was call several other hotels nearby, searching not only for a room BUT a good price and he scored a nice room for us!! We have stayed at this property twice last year, same wonderful service, hospitality and what a nice property. All you need is here. I even discovered a cupboard where you can ‘borrow’ small kitchen appliances (blender for your smoothies?) and games while you stay! Awesome place. I highly recommend this hotel for excellent service and atmosphere as well as reasonable price.”
