For big discounts on like-new merchandise, we'll let you in on a little secret: Amazon Warehouse.
Have you heard of Amazon Warehouse? The Internet retailer’s “secret” website for lightly used merchandise offers deep discounts on a vast selection of products, from bulk cleaning supplies to high-end home electronics, appliances, and jewelry. And the best part is, Amazon Warehouse isn’t really a secret at all—no special invite, access code, or membership fee is required to get in and start shopping. Read more about how to save with these Amazon hacks.
Some items are sold directly by Amazon and some are through third-party sellers. They’re offered at discounted prices because they’ve been returned as new, are open box items, were lightly damaged in the warehouse, or are pre-owned.
There are two ways to find Warehouse deals. One is to go directly to the Amazon Warehouse site and start browsing. When you find an item that interests you, look at the list price. Next to the price, you’ll see in parentheses a link to the number of used offers. Click on this and you’ll see a display of all the current offers on used, returned, or open-box items. You can also access Warehouse deals through the regular Amazon site—when you find an item that piques your interest, scroll down to the bottom of the listing info (below the “About this item” section), and see if there’s a link for “New and used from $XXX.” This takes you to the list of Amazon Warehouse deals.
A few things to know before you shop the Warehouse:
- Warehouse items are quality controlled, cleaned, and repackaged
- Each item has a condition report that reveals any cosmetic damage, missing parts, or other flaws
- Manufacturers’ warranties are usually not valid on Warehouse items
- Warehouse items can be returned for exchange or refund within 30 days
- Good deals sell out quickly, so if you see one you’re interested in, act fast!
With that, fearless online shopper, here’s a look at some of the incredible deals we found in the Amazon Warehouse.
