Driving an hour to a Trader Joe’s grand opening or stalking the brand’s famed tote bags to ensure I have one in every color are things I never expected to see on my life’s bingo card. But alas, here we are. I am a Trader Joe’s superfan, and as such, there are very few things in this world that elicit more excitement than new item releases from the grocery chain. I visit my local Trader Joe’s once a week to stock up on essentials, and every time I go, I seem to find something new. Luckily, Trader Joe’s prices are so good that I never mind tossing an extra item (or 10) into my cart.

Since I currently live in a state that doesn’t want us to have nice things (looking at you, Connecticut), you won’t find any Two Buck Chuck wine in my cart. But Trader Joe’s recently added three brand-new products to its private-label collection that are at the top of my list—and will likely be on yours too.

Excited? I tried these items, so trust me when I say that you should be. Read on to find out which buzzy new items you should check out ASAP.

Which new Trader Joe’s items are becoming fan favorites?

Before we get to the good stuff, there’s something you should know about Trader Joe’s private label: Its items are made with quality ingredients, and they’re free from artificial flavors and preservatives, MSG, genetically modified ingredients and artificial trans fats. And perhaps best of all? They’re super affordable.

Without further ado, here are the three new items that Trader Joe’s fans—myself included—have fallen in love with:

All the Things Cookies

If there’s one thing Trader Joe’s knows how to make, it’s a good cookie. My family already loves the 2-ounce bags of crispy, miniature chocolate chip cookies, but TJ’s has outdone itself with the new All the Things Cookies. These tasty treats feature a butter-cookie base and mix-ins including corn flakes, pretzels, marshmallows, semisweet chocolate chips and crispy rice. Yes, you read that right—it has all the things.

They’re not too big, and while they’re crunchy, they’re not so hard that I’m afraid of cracking a tooth. But what I really love about these cookies is that they’re the perfect go-to snack when I can’t decide if I want something sweet or salty. Trader Joe’s has managed to strike the perfect balance. Redditors agree, with one saying, that these cookies manage to include “all those sweet and salty components without feeling ‘heavy.'” Another simply enthuses: “These are outrageously good. Holy smokes!”

Fans also point out that these cookies are Milk Bar dupes, offering something fancy for a fraction of the price. We’re talking 14 Trader Joe’s cookies for just $4.49 vs. Milk Bar’s six cookies for a whopping $28! My advice? Definitely try them. I seriously doubt you’ll regret it, and you may even end up liking them better than the fan-favorite dark chocolate peanut butter cups!

Crustless Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jam Sandwiches

According to Reddit, these nostalgic treats made their debut in early August, and parents have been snapping them up. A box of four frozen sandwiches retails for $3.79. Considering the fact that a box of four Uncrustables sells for around $5.29 at my local grocery store to $5.99 on Instacart, I’d say they’re a steal.

And speaking of Uncrustables, the consensus on Reddit is that the Trader Joe’s version is just as good, if not better, than the OG. That said, they are a bit smaller. “They’re smaller than Uncrustables, but I prefer that for my 5-year-old,” says one Redditor. “Not much smaller than them, just a smidge.” Phew!

Even Trader Joe’s crew members are obsessed. When I rolled up to the checkout line at my local store, crew member Moe excitedly asked if I had tried them yet. When I told him that this was my first time, he offered up some insider tips. “Pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds and then into the toaster oven,” he said. “You get this crunch that’s just so good.”

While I haven’t tried Moe’s method for these mini PB&J’s yet, these were an instant hit in our house. Trader Joe’s did not skimp on the filling, which makes them an especially flavorful and convenient treat that I’ll be adding to my cart on the regular.

Vanilla Flavored Cold Foam Creamer

I didn’t think anything could be better in my coffee than Trader Joe’s brown sugar–flavored nondairy oat creamer. Then I added this vanilla-flavored cold foam creamer to my cold brew. I was instantly hooked. And it’s not just for coffee: Trader Joe’s also suggests nabbing a bottle of its seasonal dragon fruit drink concentrate, whipping up a tropical dragon fruit cooler and then using this cold foam creamer as a topper. Naturally, I had to try it, and my only regret is that I didn’t know this information sooner. Delicious!

I’ve tried other cold foam creamers from my local grocery store, and artificial flavoring is not my jam—everything tastes like chemicals. But unlike the creamers from big-name brands, this TJ’s version lists cane sugar and natural flavorings on its ingredient list. The flavor is subtle, but it tastes like real vanilla.

A 15-ounce can of this creamer costs $4.49, but don’t scoff at the price. In my local grocery stores, a 14-ounce can of cold foam coffee creamer ranges from $5.59 to $6.49. Final verdict? I’ll be buying this frothy Trader Joe’s version again. And while summer may be over, I have no doubt that this will be a delicious addition to a frozen apple cider or iced pumpkin concoction.

What other buzzy items might hit Trader Joe’s shelves in 2025?

The neighborhood grocer is always rolling out new items, but the really big Trader Joe’s news right now is the amount of store openings nationwide. In 2025 alone, Trader Joe’s has announced 35 recently opened and upcoming locations across the country. New locations have already opened in Louisiana, Colorado, Maryland, Washington, California and more. Meanwhile, new stores have been announced in Connecticut, New York (specifically, Long Island and Staten Island), Utah and Virginia. In fact, Trader Joe’s may even be growing faster than Costco, which has 11 new locations set to open in the U.S. and Canada by the end of the year.
