Disney has a way of capturing hearts, whether it’s with iconic castles, thrilling rides, magical parades or unforgettable character moments. It’s a place where kids’ eyes light up, adults rediscover their childhood and families make memories that (hopefully!) last forever. From Magic Kingdom’s classic adventures to Hollywood Studios’ blockbuster entertainment, there’s something for everyone, no matter their age.

And for those who serve, Disney offers a little something extra. The theme park has always found ways to say “thank you” to our men and women in uniform, but now, there’s a perk designed especially for military members and their families. If you’re curious about how this special offer could enhance your trip to Walt Disney World (for way less!), read on. After all, you never know what enchantment awaits around the next castle corner.

What new perk is Disney offering military families?

Disney is rolling out its Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket. This commemorative pass gives eligible U.S. military service members and their families unlimited access to all four Walt Disney World theme parks for most of the year.

Even better? The ticket is an addition to Disney’s Military Salute offers and commemorates the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States, making it part of the broader America’s Semiquincentennial celebration.

With the brand-new Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket, military members and their families unlock a full year of magic across all four Walt Disney World theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

This special ticket lets heroes experience everything from fireworks over Cinderella Castle to the intergalactic adventures in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. That’s right—one ticket gives you endless magic from Jan. 1 through Dec. 18, 2026, with just a few blackout dates (March 29 to April 11 and Nov. 22 to 28).

While this salute to service is packed with park access, it doesn’t include any additional perks, such as free food, Lightning Lane passes (an add-on) or other extras. And park reservations are still required. But honestly, with a full year of park-hopping and magical moments waiting at every turn, who needs shortcuts?

Who qualifies for the Military Salute Ticket?

The Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket is open to eligible U.S. military members and their immediate families. That means active-duty members, retired U.S. military and military spouses and children.

Grandparents, siblings and distant relatives don’t qualify unless the service member is the one buying and activating the tickets for their household. So while Grandma might not be eligible to grab her own Military Salute Ticket, she can still tag along if she’s covered under your service member’s purchase.

To make the magic official, the eligible service member (or their spouse) has to show a valid Uniformed Service ID when purchasing or picking up the tickets.

How much does the military ticket cost?

The Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket is an amazing deal: The Park Hopper version, which allows you to visit more than one theme park per day, is just $499, plus tax. Park Hopper Plus tickets, which give you access to multiple theme parks each day, along with water parks and other Disney hot spots, are $529, plus tax.

Here’s how much you’ll pay for the 2026 multi-day Walt Disney World Military Salute Tickets:

6-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket

  • Park Hopper: $449, plus tax
  • Park Hopper Plus: $479, plus tax

5-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket

  • Park Hopper: $429, plus tax
  • Park Hopper Plus: $459, plus tax

4-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket

  • Park Hopper: $409, plus tax
  • Park Hopper Plus: $439, plus tax

How much can you save with the Disney Military Salute Ticket?

Whether you’re planning a quick getaway or a longer park adventure, the savings with Disney’s Military Salute Ticket can really add up. A year-round pass to four Walt Disney World theme parks is $1,629 per person. This has no blackout dates and allows you to hold up to five park reservations at a time.

With the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket, you can get a yearlong pass for $499 and hold up to five park reservations at a time. (But remember, there are blackout dates.) That’s more than 69% off!

Here’s a trick for saving even more money: Buy your tickets at a military base or Shades of Green Resort at Walt Disney World, and you won’t have to pay tax on them!

How can you get Disney’s military ticket?

You can start buying the 2026 Military Salute Tickets on Nov. 18, 2025. There are three ways to purchase them:

  • Swing by a participating U.S. military base ticket office.
  • Stop at Shades of Green Resort at Walt Disney World.
  • Stop by a Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket window.
  • Snag them online at GOVX.com (Disneyland tickets only)

Just remember, you’ll need a valid military ID.

What other military discounts does Disney offer?

Disney shows some serious appreciation for U.S. military members and their families, and not just with the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket. At Walt Disney World, eligible service members can save up to 30% on deluxe resorts, 20% to 25% on moderate resorts and 20% on value resorts for 2026 stays.

On the high seas, Disney Cruise Line offers a $250 onboard credit per stateroom for select 2026 sailings from Florida aboard the Disney Wish and Disney Dream. The cruise line limits the perk to only one stateroom per military member per sailing, and a valid military ID is required to book and board.

So if you’re in the military, retired or know someone who is, make sure they grab these deals before they’re gone. Because as Walt Disney once said, “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”
