Earth Day Quiz: How Well Do You Know Our Earth?

Since the very first Earth Day in 1970, April 22 has grown to become an occasion when more than one billion people worldwide participate in activities (like this Earth Day quiz!) to help protect and preserve our one precious planet. This year’s theme is “Invest in Our Planet”, serving as a call for organizations and citizens to invest in practices and policies that will create a healthier Earth.

All living things on Earth need clean air, clean water and freedom from toxic substances. Although most of those decisions are in the hands of corporations and governments, there is a lot the individual can do as well: From getting educated on environmental issues with Earth Day facts, to making greener consumer choices, voting for environmentally conscious candidates and pressuring local politicians to enact policies that benefit the environment.
