Can You Find the One Scone That’s Different from the Others?
One of these scones has its fillings arranged in a different order from the others. Finding it might seem easy—but it's deceptively tricky!
Ready for a visual puzzle that provides some great brain food—while also making you hungry for real food? This brain teaser from cookware company Leisure challenges you to find the one scone that’s not like the others. We love puzzles where you have to spot the difference!
Set up party-ready on a pink table, surrounded by colorful banners, these platters of yummy scones look pretty uniform. And they are—with one exception. As Leisure explains, all of these scones are prepared Cornwall style, with the beige clotted cream on top and red jam on the bottom, except one. The outlier is instead prepared Devon style, with the jam on top and cream on the bottom. (For those of you who aren’t devoted scone connoisseurs, in this puzzle, that just means the colors are swapped!)
Seems like it should be easy enough to find, doesn’t it? But this challenge left us scratching our heads; the swapped scone is hidden really well! See if you can spot it. For some more classy challenges, see if you can find the one bear who’s not wearing a bow tie here.
Need a hint? The scone you’re looking for is not on a tier.
Ready for the answer?
See it there on the right-most platter, all the way at the bottom left? Sure enough, the light-colored cream is on the bottom. Yup, this puzzle pulls no punches—the Devon style scone is almost entirely hidden by the handle of the teacup, with just a tiny bit of the red jam visible! You really have to be looking to spot it.
Now, as a reward (or consolation), grab a snack of the tasty treat of your choice. And if you’re hungry for more, see if you can find the tutu among these watermelon slices.
