Frontier Launched an Unlimited Flight Pass—Here’s What You Need to Know

Updated: Feb. 08, 2023

Get your bags packed, here's how you can access unlimited flights from Frontier.

It’s every traveler’s dream—to travel to unlimited destinations without the pricey hassle of flight costs. Particularly with remote work options, the rise of digital nomads and innovative new work policies like four-day work weeks and wellness weeks, travel is becoming more and more accessible minus the hassle of pesky flight costs.

Well now, Frontier Airlines is making those dreams come true.

Say hello to Frontier’s new GoWild! annual flight pass—AKA your $799 ticket to unlimited flights for a year. Here’s how the pass works, and why you may want to consider it as a viable travel option.

What is the GoWild Pass?

Frontier’s “GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly Pass” allows travelers to access unlimited flights on the airline for a year, beginning May 2, 2023. Until December 12, travelers can access the pass for just $799, a much lower option than the $1,999 retail price of the pass.

Amazingly, the pass encompasses both domestic and international travel. Destinations covered by the pass include locations across the U.S., as well as spots across Latin America, the Bahamas, Mexico and more.

Here’s how the pass works.

Before you start globe-trotting, here’s what you need to know about the pass.

First, in order to enroll in the pass, travelers must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States. Additionally, once purchasers have their pass, they can only book a domestic flight the day prior to its departure and ten days prior for an international flight. Flights must be purchased through flyfrontier.com. From there, a $.01 airfare fee is charged with other luggage options that incur additional costs depending on the flight customization options travelers choose.

Furthermore, flight-goers should note that there are certain “blackout periods” AKA dates the pass may not be eligible for. The dates typically occur around major holidays like Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.

Frontier GoWild Pass pros

For those who have flexible work options, travel frequently or are simply eager to travel, Frontier’s travel pass is certainly worth considering. The airline flies to over one hundred domestic destinations and several international options. At such an affordable rate, the pass seems like a no-brainer for frequent fliers.

Frontier GoWild Pass cons

However, there are a few cons to the pass. For those who have less flexibility, the pass may not be a viable option. Particularly with the requirement of booking flights solely a day or ten days prior. Additionally, frequent flier miles do not go towards any flights purchased through the pass.

What’s the verdict?

Overall, the pass offers an incredibly easy way to travel to multiple destinations at an affordable rate. With tons of underrated U.S. travel destinations and international stops, the pass can help kick off the start of multiple dream vacations. And with the holidays approaching, gifting a loved one guaranteed travel access in 2023 may just be the perfect gifting experience of the year. Just make sure to access this deal by 11:59pm Mountain Time on Nov. 28. And if you’re interested in only traveling for a limited time, then Frontier’s Summer Pass may just be the next best option.
