Grandma’s Apple Bread

Delicious aromas of apples, cinnamon and nuts baking in the bread will make everyone’s mouth water.

  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup rye flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened apple juice
  • 3/4 cup sweetened applesauce
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
