“Jack It Up” Burger Recipe
This recipe was featured at the National Hamburger Festival.

- 2 pounds fresh ground round
- 1/2 Vidalia onion, minced
- 1 egg white
- 1 cup of Jack Daniel’s whiskey
- 1 TB. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 TB. molasses

- 1 TB. A-1 Steak Sauce
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 Vidalia onion, sliced
- 1 TB. butter
- 6-8 Kaiser buns

[step-item number=”1″ image_url=”” title=”” ] In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, minced onion, egg white, whiskey, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, A-1 Steak Sauce, garlic and salt and pepper to taste. Shape into 6 to 8 patties. Grill until done to your liking. [/step-item]
