Halloween and candy go hand in hand, because it’s the one night of the year when sweets reign supreme. As a kid, there’s nothing more exciting than knowing you can eat as many of your favorite treats as you can collect in your pillowcase, tote bag or Dunkin’ Munchkins bucket.

When you’re a grown-up, though, the calculations change. Picking the candy you’ll hand out to the kids knocking on your door can be fraught. Will your choice make trick-or-treaters happy? Or will you be stuck eating leftover Almond Joy bars, which, let’s be honest, you bought for yourself anyway?

If you’re not sure which candy to hand out in your hometown this Halloween, don’t worry! DoorDash compiled a report that has all of the info you need to have trick-or-treaters lining up around the block. Keep reading to find out the most popular Halloween candy in every state—and see if your personal favorite made the list.
