The closure of brick and mortar stores has spurred a lot of online sales and deals in an effort to keep these businesses afloat, Dean Sackler, a retail analyst explains. “Normally goods ranging from warm weather fashions to sporting equipment would be sold at full retail prices in April, but the current social distancing conditions have given way to a flurry of discounts rivaling clearance prices,” Sackler says.
