Stop Everything: Royal Family-Themed Bingo Has Arrived!
Time to brush up on your royal trivia!
Courtesy of Laurence King PublishingAnglophiles, unite! If you wake up in the wee morning hours to watch a royal wedding and meticulously track down adorable pictures of the royal babies, we won’t judge you. In fact, there’s good news! The Internet has now graced us with a royals-themed bingo game, and it’s (almost) too good to be true.
Lawrence King Publishing’s Royal Bingo is “a fun twist on the classic game we know and love,” Real Simple reports. The set includes gorgeous watercolor illustrations of 64 royal icons (in full color!) by Holly Exley, a British artist. Inside, you’ll find famous international faces ranging from the widely recognized (Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II, anyone?) to the less familiar, such as Queen Rania of Jordan and Rainier III, Prince of Monaco.
But that’s not all! The set also includes a booklet filled with trivia about each royal, so you can test your knowledge about their personalities, achievements, and romantic lives. (Do you know why Queen Elizabeth wears neon outfits all the time?) Plus, the small gold crowns used for game’s marker pieces add a particularly majestic touch.
Gather up to six players (just make sure they’re over the recommended age of six!) for an evening of entertainment that’s fit for a king. With 12 different bingo boards, you can keep the game going all night long.
Sadly, Royal Bingo won’t be available for purchase until August 1, but you can pre-order it on Amazon right now. While you’re waiting, brush up on your royal trivia with these fascinating facts about Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana.
