Kohl’s and Sephora are teaming up

Sephora, the premium beauty retailer with more than 2,700 locations in 35 countries, will bring more than 100 carefully curated beauty brands to its locations inside Kohl’s stores starting this fall. Stores in 29 states will get the first locations. New York is slated to get the most Kohl’s/Sephora hybrids with 22, followed by 20 in California. Here’s how to score a free perfume at Sephora.

The Sephora beauty destinations inside Kohl’s stores will occupy about 2,500 square feet near the store entrance. They will sell makeup, skincare, hair, and fragrance products, carefully curated to incorporate classic beauty and emerging trends. The Sephora press release includes the full list of products, everything from Bumble & Bumble to Charlotte Tilbury and Estee Lauder.

Yep, the testing and discovery zones you know and love at Sephora will also be there. Look for a rotating assortment of new and trending products to test. You’ll want to also check out these Black-owned beauty products.

The new beauty departments will be staffed by Sephora-trained associates to help with makeovers, makeup tips, and recommendations. Kohl’s also plans to start selling Sephora’s products online in the fall.

No Sephora coming to your local Kohl’s? Don’t worry, the Sephora at Kohl’s experience will expand into at least 850 stores by 2023. Get your testers ready!
