Meaty Spaghetti Sauce
A family classic that requires steady attention on the stovetop, this sauce is just as delicious when made in the slow cooker-and much less demanding.

- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cans (14 1/2 oz. each) Italian diced tomatoes, drained
- 2 cans (15 oz. each) tomato sauce
- 2 cans (6 oz. each) tomato paste

- 2 tbs. Italian seasoning
- 1 tbs. dried basil
- 2 tsp. dried marjoram
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
