Snowy Christmas Tree Cookies Recipe
Create a winter wonderland of snow-covered evergreens by stacking green tinted cookie stars with yummy icing.

- Basic Sugar Cookie Dough
- Basic Frosting
- Star cookie cutters, various sizes
- Food coloring (green and white)
- 1 disposable frosting bag

- 1 size “5” decorating tip
- Rubber band
- Gum drops

[step-item number=”1″ image_url=”” title=”” ]Prepare dough and frosting according to the recipes. Before chilling cookie dough, knead a few drops of green food coloring into dough. Chill, cut out and bake star cookies according to the recipe. [/step-item]

Outline stars with white frosting and pipe to fill with white. Let set about 15 minutes before stacking stars. Top with gumdrop.
