Strawberry Sandwich Recipe

When I was in high school I specifically went to a now-defunct restaurant only to eat a version of this sandwich: its demise doesn’t stop me from enjoying it still.

  • 1⁄2 slice Mestemacher or other dense 3-grain bread (equal to 65 calories)
  • 3 strawberries, sliced
  • Coarsely ground black pepper (optional)

[/ingredients-left]
[ingredients-right]

  • 2 teaspoons farmer cheese
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon honey

[/ingredients-right]
