The Best Cocoa
In the winter, nothing beats homemade hot cocoa.

- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
- 1/4 cup water

- 3/4 cup low-fat (1% milkfat) milk
- Miniature marshmallows (optional)
- 1 cinnamon stick, 4 inches long (optional)

[step-item number=”1″ image_url=”” title=”” ]In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and cocoa. Stir in the water. Bring to a boil over moderate heat. Lower the heat and simmer for 2 minutes, whisking constantly. [/step-item]
