Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is a former basketball player who played 20 seasons in the National Basketball Association. He is the NBA's all-time leading scorer and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016. Abdul-Jabbar also authored 16 books, including his most recent, “Mycroft & Sherlock —The Empty Birdcage."
