  • 1 pita bread (8 inch diameter)
  • ¼ tsp. cooking oil
  • salt, sprinkle

    How to make it

    Place pita bread on cutting board. Brush cooking oil on one side of pita bread.

    Sprinkle with salt. Cut pita bread into 8 triangles. Place paper towel in microwave. Lay pita pieces on top in a single layer. Microwave on high (100%) for 1 minute. Wait for about 2 minutes until crisp and cool enough to handle.

CINNAMON MICRO-CHIPS: Instead of salt, sprinkle with 1/2 tsp. granulated sugar and 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon before cooking.

HERBED MICRO-CHIPS: Add a sprinkle of Italian seasoning with the salt before cooking.

SALT AND PEPPER MICRO-CHIPS: Add a sprinkle of pepper with the salt before cooking.

SEASONED MICRO-CHIPS: Instead of salt, use a sprinkle of seasoned salt before cooking.
