Chill tonic water with frozen watermelon, strawberries, apples, and blueberries. Frozen fruit adds color and keeps your fizzy water cool, with the bonus of a fresh, summery tint of flavor. Blogger Oh My! Sugar High has easy, step-by-step instructions.

For a fun summer drink and science experiment, fill a glass one-third full with red cranberry juice. Add ice. Pour one cup of a white, non-alcoholic piña colada-flavored fruit drink directly over the ice, then one cup of a blue sports drink. Since the juices have different densities, they will remain separated for a striped treat. In Katrina’s Kitchen explains how it’s done.
