Star Wars Day at Sea

Imagine combining the epic franchise that is Star Wars with the whimsical magic of Disney. Add in the excitement of cruising, and you get an idea of how much fun you can have on Disney Cruise Line’s Star Wars Day at Sea expeditions. Guests can score one-on-one time with characters from a galaxy far, far away, including R2-D2, C-3PO, and Chewbacca. Kids can train to be a Jedi and learn how to wield a lightsaber in the on-ship kids’ clubs. Then the day is capped off with a nighttime stage show celebrating the most iconic moments from the movies, followed by a spectacular fireworks show set to John Williams’s Star Wars score. Star Wars Day at Sea cruises always sail from Port Canaveral on the Disney Fantasy ship. Itineraries are available for seven-night Caribbean cruises. Find out about more of the best Disney attractions for Star Wars fans.

Marvel Day at Sea

Mix some pixie dust with the power of superheroes, and kids’ imaginations can really soar. Plan photo ops with superhero characters including Iron Man and Spider-Man—you may even just run into Thor, Captain America, and other supes and villains when you’re walking around the ship. Kids can even train to be a superhero at the Marvel Super Hero Academy (part of Disney’s Oceaneer Club). The fast action of superhero characters will come to life in a deck show, and adults can enjoy a special night club where Star-Lord and Gamora make appearances. Disney’s Marvel Day at Sea cruises sail from Miami to the Western Caribbean or the Bahamas in early 2019.
