Aries (March 21 – April 19)

As a pure fire energy sign that is ruled by the planet Mars (aka the masculine god of war), Aries is a well-known thrill seeker. So, a spring break destination that offers plenty of high-energy activities is ideal for this sign. Astrologer Molly Cardinal, who trained under celebrity astrologer David “The Leo King” Palmer, suggests rock climbing, zip lining, or anything fast and physically oriented. The Hawaiian island Kauai has everything you need, including perfect weather, off-road ATV tours with Kauai ATV, zip lining with Just Live! zip line tours, and waterfall rappelling.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

“This slow and sensual sign wants to spend their spring break anywhere that they can kick back, relax, and enjoy the finer things in life for a while,” says Cardinal. “Think five-star restaurants with James Beard-level dishes and fine wine, the fluffiest of bathrobes, and aromatherapy massages.” Try the Cal-a-Vie health spa in Vista, California for mild temps and luxurious spa amenities—it was ranked the No. 6 destination spa in the world by Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards—or the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona for specialized Asian-inspired spa treatments and cuisine by renowned Food Network celebrity chef Beau MacMillan. Wherever you go, be sure to bring the perfect classic book for you, based on your zodiac sign.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

The chattiest sign of the zodiac, and the sign of friendship, Gemini should book their spring break somewhere where they can hang out with their friends and meet more friends, Cardinal says. How about they take the reins and find a group deal for a hotel in Vegas? Chatting poolside, enjoying lengthy dinners, and bumping into people at nightclubs sounds right up their alley. For sports fans, catch up with your old college buddies while watching the NCAA March Madness games and then take the after-party back to your Marriott hotel, the official partner of the NCAA.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

According to Cardinal, Cancer is known as being the most emo of all the signs, so why not spend spring break doing some healthy healing of all those feels? An ideal destination for this sign would be any sort of self-development or self-care retreat where they can get in touch with all those emotions, sort them out, and come back to real life refreshed. A visit to Sedona’s Enchantment Resort and a hike or yoga class in the healing vortexes may be just what Cancer needs to sail through spring. Considering Cancer will be the healthiest zodiac sign in 2019, this is a great way to jumpstart that prophecy.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

“Proud lions long to be somewhere hot and luxurious, where they can be pampered and treated like the royalty they believe they are,” says Cardinal. “Leo is ruled by the Sun, after all, so they not only would appreciate the warmer climate but also would appreciate being the center of attention.” Think somewhere tropical with killer spa treatments, like The Four Seasons Resort Nevis—this Caribbean island sanctuary offers an Eden-like environment and a romantic multi-course spa dinner under the stars. If these trips seem a little pricey for you at the moment, try out the best way to make money, according to your zodiac sign.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

A very physical and body-oriented sign, Virgo would enjoy something like a yoga retreat for their spring break, where they can work on their skills (always wanting to improve things, this sign) but also take some time for self-care. Cardinal says that especially because this sign tends toward perfectionism and a little bit of obsession, being able to balance physical activity with some pampering would be most beneficial. Try a visit to the Chopra Center in Carlsbad, California and sign up for either a six-day Perfect Health retreat, a six-day Wisdom Within retreat, or a three-day Rest & Restore retreat—you may even run into zen-master Deepak himself!

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

“Oh, Libra, always having to turn on the charm,” says Cardinal. “Wherever the crowd is going, Libra should follow, as they love to meet and interact with people—especially when there’s an opportunity to flirt, as they are ruled by feminine Venus.” Look into group trips or cruises where there’s plenty of socializing—such as the Oasis Class of Royal Caribbean cruise ships, which are the world’s largest—and you will be a happy Libra.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Considering it’s the deepest sign of the zodiac and a water sign, what would be better for Scorpio than some snorkeling or scuba diving? A very penetrative sign, Cardinal says they love to discover what’s underneath the surface, and getting a view of some weird-looking sea creatures would really strike their fancy. Plus, with their secondary ruler being physical Mars, they would enjoy some activity on their spring break. You don’t even need your passport to visit one of the most spectacular coral reef barriers in the world—a day trip to Buck Island just off the coast of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, aboard Big Beard’s Adventure Tours, offers magnificent views of hundreds of tropical fish and coral species.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Sagittarius is all about adventure, so Cardinal says they should consider spending their spring break in someplace foreign: “Anywhere they can do some hiking, climbing, exploring, and experiencing of new cultures would really light up their soul. Nothing mundane or ‘been there, done that’ for this sign.” Choose a location in the southern hemisphere, such as Australia or Bali, to enjoy spring break in their autumn!

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

An earthy sign who loves a challenge, Capricorn is symbolized by the goat—it’s no wonder this sign wants to literally summit to the top of the mountain. For spring break, they should go mountain climbing. Not only does it get them out with their feet in the dirt, but Cardinal says they love setting goals and crushing them. And the physical activity would give this stress-prone sign a much-needed break! Book a stay at the legendary Forbes Five-Star resort in Colorado Springs, The Broadmoor, and sign up for introductory climbing sessions or all-day climbing trips if you have more experience.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

“A unique sign who likes other unique people and exercising their brain, Aquarius is another sign that would enjoy going somewhere foreign for their spring break, particularly [somewhere] they could practice their language skills,” says Cardinal. “They would love to experience a radically different culture and community and connect with them.” If you want to stay within North America to save some money, a trip to Mexico will help you practice Spanish, while you can try your hand at French in Québec. Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Pisces’ symbol is literally the fish, and their meditative and dreamy nature would love to spend some time by the water. How about going somewhere beautiful and peaceful by the lake? “Doing some swimming, floating, and even just contemplating life would really fit this sign’s energy,” says Cardinal. “They don’t necessarily need a huge social atmosphere, as most of the time they live in their own little world anyway.” The Highland Lakes region of Texas, northwest of Austin, has five lakes that offer kayaking; boat rides; and fishing for bass, crappie, and striper—plus the end of March begins wildflower season, and there’s nothing dreamier than fields of bluebonnets.
