When I moved here last year, I started coming here with my mom. They opened their arms to me, even though I have tattoos and am not like most of them. They pray for me when I am sick, and are always there for me if I need help. I love this church so much.

Stories About First Evangelical Lutheran Church

The church has a quilt group that my mom belongs to, and I help her make a quilt topper every month. The group sews it to together to give to Lutheran World Relief. We also help to host the Fine Arts at First, and have concerts at the church were we invite the community in for free to see different groups perform. All of these things have made me feel at home in this new community.
