Lynchburgh, VA

As we visited the area, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, hospitality, and kindness that we encountered during our walks through the local park, restaurants visited, hotel, University, drugstore, and supermarket. A place filled with beautiful surroundings and people with great weather to boot!

As we walked in the local restaurant recommended by our hotel we were greeted with smiles and a big “welcome to our city.” Our waitress also offered us recommendations on where and when to go to local spots.

We visited Liberty University where the students helped guide us in the right direction or sometimes escorted us to where we wanted to go. The polite, respectful manner and good manners was a pleasant change to what we experience during visits to other university campuses.
