From my experience, Tyler residents epitomize southern hospitality. After I bought my home in this community, a kind neighbor placed a welcome basket on my porch just a few days after I moved in. The basket was filled with all the fixings for a spaghetti dinner, two house plants, and a thoughtful card. One week later, another neighbor brought cookies to our door. When I opened the door, I was met with smiling faces. We adopted a stray puppy who likes to visit our neighbors, and always comes back with a treat! All us neighbors know we can call at anytime for help or just to hear a friendly voice. I have never felt so at home in all my life as I do here in Tyler. The sense of community brings me contentment and happiness!
