Sheri is a product tester, focusing on home and lifestyle categories for Reader's Digest. Before joining the team, Sheri owned several small businesses that utilized her creative skills. As an interior designer Sheri enjoys helping homeowners solve problems while creating functional and beautiful spaces, indoors and out. As a life-long vegetable gardener, she enjoys landscaping projects that incorporate native plantings and pollinator habitats. While living abroad, Sheri embraced the art and architecture of Europe. She is especially captivated by multi-purpose furniture and space-saving designs. Her love of architecture, color and design led her to architectural color consulting and eventually into opening an interior design business in 2003. Partnering with realtors, she helps homeowners with staging and on-trend design decisions. In addition to residential design, Sheri reimagined commercial spaces, including offices, restaurants, hair salons and a hotel. With a strong interest in sustainable design and new materials, she takes advantage of continuing education courses to keep her updated. Sheri is passionate about well-designed products and loves testing new things. She enjoys sharing her favorite products, as well as tips and tricks she has discovered over the years. She cares deeply about function, form and aesthetics and loves finding great deals. When she's not painting, gardening or rearranging furniture, Sheri spends time dancing, boating and grooming her dog.
