Pros:
- Good option for single travelers
- Many included recreational activities to choose from
- Large spa with a hydrotherapy circuit
Cons:
- Private beach cabanas cost extra
Sanctuary Cap Cana is tucked into a private gated community in Punta Cana, called Cap Cana, and is part of a serene 30,000-acre oasis. With the aesthetic of a Spanish castle perched cliffside, the adults-only, all-inclusive is located on a coveted stretch of sugar sand, Juanillo Beach, right on the Caribbean Sea.
Stretch out in style in swoon-worthy suites, some with direct access to the saltwater pools, others with private plunge pools (including in the living room!). Enjoy a day of floating in one of the five pools, soak up the shower path and hydrotherapy circuit at Sanctuary Spa or simply sip a drink at the swim-up bar to completely relax into your vacay.
StolenTime, Castries, St. Lucia
Pros:
- Myriad wellness programs and activities
- Multiple inclusions from scuba to unlimited tennis
- Good option for singles or friends
Cons:
- No longer a romantic couples retreat
Set on a two-mile stretch of Malabar Beach on a secluded bay, boutique all-inclusive resort StolenTime (formerly called Rendezvous Resort) offers 100 rooms and suites, two restaurants, three freshwater swimming pools and a multitude of land and water activities, including scuba diving and nightly entertainment. Under its previous name, the resort focused solely on couples, but it’s now shifted its focus to a newly created wellness program focused on physical, mental and emotional well-being that’s equally welcoming to groups of friends and singles. And the Spa in the Water Garden offers a full array of scrubs, massages, facials and body treatments.
Impression Moxche by Secrets, Playa del Carmen, Mexico
Pros:
- Part of World of Hyatt, so you can earn and use loyalty points
- Full access to the myriad spaces at Secrets
- On-property spa
Cons:
- Most restaurants are located at the adjacent Secrets property
Do you have a butler at home? How about maid service three times a day? How about your minibar filled twice a day (for free!)? Nope, I don’t have any of those either. And those are just some of the ways Impression Moxche by Secrets, an upscale, adults-only resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, sets itself apart. With 198 spacious suites—many featuring private plunge pools or swim-out access—the property is designed for a total relaxation vacation, with ultra-personalized service in an elevated environment.
When you’re not enjoying all the attentive service in your suite, you can lounge on the white sands, swim and play in the ocean (non-motorized water sports are included) or lounge by the rooftop pool before heading to a gourmet meal at one of the two exclusive restaurants on the property. Staying at Impression also gives you total access to all the amenities at the neighboring Secrets resort, including nearly a dozen restaurants and bars (however, regular guests are not welcome at Impression).
Casa Velas, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Pros:
- Private beach-club access with all amenities included
- LifeFitness Center Access
Cons:
- Not directly on the beach
Designed to evoke a secluded Spanish hacienda, this hotel features 80 spacious suites, some with private pools and Jacuzzis, all nestled on the greens of Marina Vallarta’s 18-hole golf course. Although it’s not located right on the ocean, Casa Velas’s guests have complimentary beach access to Táu Beach Club just five minutes away (by private shuttle), complete with pool concierge service, loungers and chair side service—as well as all-inclusive tropical cocktails and all-day sushi. Here, guests have the best of a small intimate property with all the amenities of a large resort, since they can also visit nearby Grand Velas to try out gym classes or dine at other restaurants, although TripAdvisor reviewers rave about the on-site Emiliano restaurant.
The other things reviewers can’t say enough about in their five-star reviews: the staff, who are “friendly,” “helpful” and “incredible.” On the property, you’ll also find the ABJA Spa, which offers treatment rooms for singles and couples, a hydrotherapy area, a fitness center and a beauty salon.
Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo, Mexico

- Hydrotherapy experience included with spa treatments
Cons:
- Limited entertainment venues

Nestled between a pristine beach and a lush green forest, the Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya delivers both ocean fun and the cooling greenery and scenery of the rainforest. Set on 1.5 acres of pristine beach, this serene escape has 291 sleek rooms and suites, many of which have either swim-up pool access or a private pool all to yourself (one of my favorite perks!).
There are jungle pathways connecting the infinity pools, open-air dining and beachfront cabanas. There are also nine dining, drink and snack spots, live entertainment and a Mayan-inspired Zen Spa. From sunrise yoga to swim-up bar cocktails, the vibe is relaxed and laid-back—ideal for couples or friends seeking a chilled-out jungle and beach vacation.
Sandals Ochi, Ochos Rios, Jamaica
Pros:
- Golf at two nearby championship courses is included
- There are no extra fees for SCUBA diving
Cons:
- It’s the largest Sandals resort, which might not appeal to all travelers
Want to spend time with your friends at your own pool, with your own butler, but still have all the perks of an all-inclusive? Then you’re going to want to add Sandals Ochi in Jamaica to your “must-visit” list. The adults-only all-inclusive resort recently added two- and four-bedroom villas for groups to stay together. In addition to a large private pool and butler service, you’ll have round-the-clock in-room dining with cocktails, the perfect way to hang with your crew. Each suite has a king bed and spacious bathroom, plus there’s a separate living area for the suite, a fully stocked bar, and plenty of outdoor space where you can all gather to watch the sunset views.
And of course, you’ll be able to take advantage of all the fun resort perks that are included, such as live entertainment, water sports, and dining and drinking at the more than 20 on-site options (including what Sandals boasts is the Caribbean’s first speakeasy).
Club Med Turkoise, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos
Pros:
- Located on one of the best beaches in the world
- Fantastic snorkeling and diving
Cons:
- The wine cellar is an extra cost
Sometimes a spot seems a little too good to be true, but then you realize it’s actually everything you hoped it would be and more. Take, for instance, Club Med Turkoise, which sits on pristine Grace Bay, a bucket-list-worthy beach on a stretch of water considered to be one of the top diving and snorkeling spots in the world. It’s also home to Sharkies Bar, which offers one of the most gorgeous sunset views in all of Turks and Caicos.
What could be better? We’re so glad you asked. The whole resort is an adults-only paradise with all-day entertainment, yoga, golf, trapeze lessons and water activities like snorkeling and sailing; you can even learn to scuba dive while you’re there. There’s also a waterside wine cellar, where you can toast to your beach vacation with a glass of champagne or whatever other adult beverage you’re in the mood for.

Cons:

At this sprawling 40-acre property, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, everything from the decor to the spa treatments incorporates natural elements. And let’s talk about those spa treatments for a minute—they sound good enough to eat. There’s a “Tropical Fruit Wrap” with papaya and pineapple that has anti-aging properties, a body scrub of lemongrass and ginger to boost blood flow, and a “Coconut Cocoon” for couples with soothing coconut milk, coconut oil and grated coconut. As for the accommodations, you can choose from beachfront rooms and suites with soaking tubs and ocean views, or if you can, splurge on the Gauguin Cottages, where you’ll have access to private plunge pools and indoor and outdoor living spaces.
Spend your days at this dreamy Caribbean destination trying out the water sports included in your rate—snorkeling, kayaking and catamaran sailing, to name a few—then catch the sunset at the oceanfront TeePee Bar. St. Maarten calls itself the “Friendly Island,” and you’ll definitely feel that at Sonesta Ocean Point Resort. This adults-only all-inclusive is welcoming to every guest, and it bills itself as LGBTQ-friendly too (which is not always the case in the Caribbean). In an ideal location to take in the breathtaking views over Maho Bay, the 130 all-suite, ultra-luxurious “resort within a resort” (it’s adjacent to Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa, to which guests have full access to amenities) sits on the westernmost point of the island. Palafitos Overwater Bungalows, Playa del Carmen, Mexico
Pros:
- Overwater bungalows have private pools and glass-bottom floors
- Private butler service
Cons:

You don’t have to jet off to Bora Bora to experience some of the world’s best overwater bungalows. This romantic resort—which has a perfect five-star rating on Tripadvisor for its butler service and postcard-worthy surroundings—is a well-worth-it splurge for couples. All accommodations come complete with private infinity plunge pools, expansive balconies, glass-bottom flooring (so you can see the sea without leaving your luxe bungalow) and direct ocean access. We’d also be remiss not to mention the overwater restaurant (which also has a glass floor) and the overwater spa.

Hedonism II, Negril, Jamaica
Pros:
- Truly all-inclusive—even scuba for certified divers and tips are included
- Niche offerings
Cons:
- Not for those uncomfortable with nudity
Are you looking for a destination that’s a little more wild than mild? Then Hedonism II—an all-inclusive, clothing-optional (and, yes, adults-only) resort in Negril, Jamaica—may be just what you’re looking for. While there’s no pressure here to bare it all, it is a let-it-all-hang-out type of place, with bars and parties for every kink and interest, plus a focus on getting, well, sexy, all in a nonjudgmental environment. It’s definitely not the place to be shy!
It also has all the regular hallmarks of all-inclusives, including multiple restaurants (clothing required) and bars to choose from, plus pools to lounge around and beach water sports. Plus, Jamaica’s Seven Mile Beach, one of the best beaches in the world, is just a 10-minute drive from the resort.
Meraki Resort Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt
Pros:
- Unique Boho design
- Excellent for scuba divers
- Lively nightlife and entertainment
Cons:
- Not ideal for travelers seeking quiet
If you’re craving an exotic escape but refuse to compromise on the adults-only factor, Meraki Resort Sharm El Sheikh is a strong contender. Set directly on the shores of the Red Sea, this boho-chic resort delivers sweeping water views and easy access to Ras Nasrani, a dream spot for scuba and snorkeling enthusiasts.
This all-inclusive is decidedly not a low-key retreat. The vibe is social, energetic, and designed for guests who like their vacations lively, with nightly entertainment that often keeps the party going well past sunset. It’s an especially great pick for a girls’ getaway or anyone looking to mix beach time with a buzzing nightlife scene.
The all-inclusive rate covers a variety of à la carte dining options, along with generous pours at multiple bars and lounges across the property. Spa treatments—including the resort’s buzzy Turkish bath—come at an additional cost, as do certain premium restaurants and motorized water sports. Bottom line: if you like your all-inclusive vacations bold, high-energy, and unapologetically fun, Meraki Resort Sharm El Sheikh delivers.

2026 Industry Trends
The popularity of adults-only all-inclusive resorts shows no signs of slowing in 2026. But today’s travelers want more than a lounge chair and a frozen drink—they’re looking for experiences that feel active, intentional, and restorative.
“In 2026, we’re seeing a strong shift toward health and wellness,” says Susan Catto, Head of Publishing and Production, Canada, at Travelzoo. “Resorts are leaning into a deeper kind of relaxation, offering complimentary amenities like world-class gyms, yoga classes, and access to sports such as tennis and pickleball.”
Carlos Nasillo, CEO of Riderly, agrees, noting that wellness is moving well beyond the traditional spa model. “The trend isn’t just about pampering anymore. Operators are taking a more holistic approach, with offerings like sound healing, forest bathing, and immersive fitness programs that actively engage guests.”
One of the most surprising shifts in the adults-only all-inclusive space this year is the growing demand for sober-friendly experiences. “Traditionally, all-inclusives have been associated with leisurely drinks by the pool,” says Steven Vigor, CEO of Revigorate. “But as travelers prioritize clarity and overall health, there’s increasing interest in resorts that de-emphasize alcohol. While fully alcohol-free resorts remain rare, many properties are introducing mocktail bars and alcohol-free lounges to meet that demand.”
