Anthem is a very family-oriented community with beautiful parks full of soccer fields, baseball diamonds, skateboard park — even a miniature train. The community built a world-famous Veterans Memorial that shines the sun onto a symbol at 11:11a.m. on November 11th, Armistice Day. And the community honors Veterans throughout the year as well.

Stories About Anthem

The Veterans held a special ceremony in March of this year to give service awards to Vietnam Vets living in the area. Recently, they honored all the Veterans living at the retirement center by placing their pictures on a wall of honor. The country club holds charitable fund-raising events throughout the year, and recently they had a special event for a disabled young man to help him get a specially equipped van.
