I came here to live on July 11, 2015 and experienced a warm welcome to the retirement community from the beginning. My favorite activities are: Bingo Night, Friday Social Hour, Grocery Shopping with Seniors, and our weekly Hymn Sings. My neighbor across the hall has filled in for me at the reception desk when I can’t do it. In turn, I supply her Rosary Group with treats each week, which I also share with my Bingo table companions, at Social Hour, and other celebrations at the Manor.

People remember each other’s birthdays, send sympathy cards if a resident has passed, or even if a family member of the resident has passed!  I’ve been treated to a free Bingo card on my birthday. We celebrate with ice cream on other Bingo players’ birthdays! One of the residents paid me for groceries I bought for her with extra money included to show her appreciation! People also give out Christmas cards to residents.
