In my hometown of Hope, there’s a feeling of community and love of neighbor. We have at least eight churches in our small town that monitor the needs of the community. We have several community outings each year, starting out with an egg hunt put on by our local convalescent center, Millers Merry Manor. We have a cancer walk where the community comes together to help support those who have cancer. The community also hosts an old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration with fireworks and music. In September, we have a bicycle ride to support local food banks. On Hope Heritage days, the community all comes together to support several organizations. Best small town ever!

Stories About Hope

We had several fundraisers to support cancer victims and their families, including one where the most heartbreaking outcome occurred and a young boy eventually passed away. We care about each other not only with love but with support. We have hope for a better future because we’ve had hope in our past!
