Kiawah Island, SC

Living here is for the active, with five golf courses and 20 tennis courts. But even if you just like to laze in the sun, there is a wide beach, gentle surf and hard enough sand to ride a bike in our 10 miles of beach. If you want bike paths, we have about 50 miles of those winding throughout the island. Nearby is a cool shopping area called Freshfields, only a 15 minuet bike ride away for many. We are small, but have over 200 species of birds, abound with deer and to keep natural population under control, bobcats and alligators.
