“There’s no place like home,” as Dorothy would say. I love my home that’s so near my family and friends, get to share it with the most important person in my life: my hubby.

Stories About the Lodge’s House

We have 110 neighbors, and they’re 110 of the nicest people you’ll ever know. They look out for each other at all times, and in case of an emergency they’re there in a heartbeat. If we see an ambulance, we all rally to see if there’s anything at all we can do. If someone needs a ride or a task completed, plenty of people come forward.

One way that we stay close with our neighbors is the “progressive dinner,” where we go from house to house, starting at the beginning of the dinner and ending at dessert.
