The dreamiest Cabo all-inclusive resorts

Why is Cabo San Lucas so amazing? Let’s start with its stunning beaches, beautiful blue seas, sunny weather, striking rock formations and abundance of bars, restaurants and entertainment offerings. And if you’re on or near the West Coast, it’s a no-brainer, since this Mexican hot spot on the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is just a three-hour plane ride from major cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix and Denver. Oh, and did we mention the vast array of dreamy Cabo all-inclusive resorts? Well, we should have! Not only do they look like they belong on a postcard, but since everything’s included in your rate, they will make budgeting and planning incredibly easy.

So, have we officially convinced you to book your next trip to Cabo? If the answer’s yes, then you’ll want to keep reading to find our top picks for the destination’s best all-inclusive resorts!

What’s the best time to go to Cabo?

Cabo has year-round warm and sunny weather, which means there’s not really a “bad” time to visit. High season is generally between November and April, which also overlaps with prime whale-watching season (early December through mid-April). That said, keep in mind that this is also when Cabo will be more crowed and costly.

Low season, July through mid-October, brings fewer crowds but also the hottest temps and the rainiest weather. That said, you’ll also find lower hotel rates, which may be a draw for those on a budget. Shoulder season (May through June, and mid-October through November) serves as a happy medium, with fewer crowds and great weather.

How we chose the best all-inclusive resorts in Cabo

We sifted through hundreds of TripAdvisor reviews and consulted with travel pros to bring you the best of the best. The accommodations we chose all have private balconies or terraces, and most also have all-suite accommodations with amenities like bathtubs and water views. We also looked for resorts with bonus features, such as included non-motorized water sports, free spa access and state-of-the-art kids clubs, to name a few.

Just keep in mind that while all the best Cabo resorts on this list are located along gorgeous swaths of sand, not all of the beaches are swimmable. Unlike other warm-weather vacation destinations such as the Caribbean, which have warm, calm waters, some Cabo beaches have rough, strong currents. With this in mind, only some of these resorts are situated on swimmable beaches, but most are just a short walk or drive away from other excellent swimmable beaches.

Now, without further ado, scroll on down to see the 10 best Cabo all-inclusive resorts. And don’t forget to check out these all-inclusive resort tips so that you can make the most of your trip!

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, 10 Top All Inclusive Resorts In Cabo For A Gorgeous West Coast Getaway
via tripadvisor.com

Best overall

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos

The beachfront Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos has something fun for guests of all ages. But, before diving into that, let’s cover the basics: Its standard rooms are spacious, at just under 600 square feet, and have private furnished terraces with tranquil garden views. But for a worth-it splurge, consider one of the ocean-view or ultra-cool swim-up suites. No worries if you can’t swing it, though, since you’ll likely spend most of your time away from your room, enjoying the numerous on-site amenities.

Soak up the sunshine at one of four pools, which include a stunning infinity pool, an adults-only pool with a swim-up bar, and a kids pool, where you’ll find slides and a mini water park. Or take advantage of resort activities like water aerobics, dance classes, beachfront yoga and trivia contests. It can be a great family trip too. Children will love the supervised KidZ Club—and so will you, since it means you’ll be able to relax at the Zen Spa or do other grown-up activities, guilt-free.

The drinking and dining here will impress too. Choose from seven restaurants (including a modern steakhouse, a haute French eatery and an Italian restaurant overlooking the beach), plus seven bars and lounges. Then, take in some live entertainment, which runs the gamut from magic shows to tropical dance performances and live music courtesy of the resort band. Put simply, you’ll be happily occupied for your entire stay and likely never want to leave!

Pros:

  • Upscale and spacious accommodations
  • Unlimited drinking and dining at more than 12 venues
  • Ample on-site activities (including some great kid-centric programming) and live entertainment

Cons:

  • Spa services not included
  • While the stretch of sand here is beautiful and great for lounging and playing on, the beach is not swimmable

Guests who book the all-inclusive plan are privy to unlimited food and drinks across eight restaurants and bars (including a tequila and taco bar). Casa Dorada Resort & Spa, 10 Top All Inclusive Resorts In Cabo For A Gorgeous West Coast Getaway
via tripadvisor.com

Best beach

Casa Dorada Resort & Spa

Casa Dorada Resort & Spa is one of the few Cabo all-inclusive resorts located on a swimmable beach. In fact, Medano Beach, where the property is situated, is the most popular swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas. While we wouldn’t blame you if you spent the entire day wading in the calm, crystal-clear waters, you won’t want to sleep on the resort’s two sparkling swimming pools (one of which has a swim-up bar so you can sip while you soak). The resort’s private beach club, where you can lounge on the sand in style, is easily its best amenity. Guests can also try their hand at pickleball, yoga or even bingo.

We also love Casa Dorada for its spacious suites, which range in size from 665 to 2,614 square feet. Each is elegantly appointed with desert-inspired color tones and fabrics, plus private terraces, kitchenettes and bathtubs. Other resort highlights include five restaurants, a bar and a deli/coffee shop, along with the signature Saltwater Spa, which has an extensive menu of restorative and ocean-inspired treatments such as sea-moss facials and fish pedicures.

Pros:

  • Ideal location along Cabo’s most popular swimming beach
  • Stylish private beach club area
  • Suites with kitchenettes, tubs and oversized terraces

Cons:

  • Few activities, and some, such as yoga and sound healing, cost extra
  • Not all rooms have water views
