Inspired by its founder’s own struggle with finding plus-size clothing, Dia & Co aims to provide stylish clothes for a very underrepresented group. I ordered the Autumn Essentials, and my stylist paired me with three sweaters, a jacket and a pair of jeans. Dia & Co has a specific rating system, so you can give direct feedback on anything you did (or didn’t) like.Â
There’s a $20 styling fee and a 25% discount if you decide to keep all five items (the discount varies from 20% to 30% for the style plans). Everything arrived carefully packaged, and I was surprised that everything fit inside such a small box. Delivery options range from every two weeks to every three months, or you can order on demand, no subscription required.
“I’ve been a loyal Stitch Fix subscriber for more than five years,” says Deputy Shopping Editor Reina Galhea. “It’s helped me find some of my favorite closet items—from everyday wear to big, bold pieces. “They recently raised their price so it’s not very economical to subscribe every month, but I will do it before a trip or occasionally when my wardrobe needs a refresh (and I always tend to receive compliments on their items, so I always feel like I’m a walking advertisement for Nuuly),” Nancy says. “It pushes you to try styles you might not otherwise try, and those tend to be the pieces I end up loving and keeping!”
